ABOUT ME

Silvia Callegari was born on 07/09/1983 in Piacenza, the city where she currently lives and works. After graduating from the Liceo Artistico Bruno Cassinari she moved to Florence where, under the guidance of Prof. R. Giovannelli, she graduated in "Visual Arts and Painting" at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.

In 2008, immediately after graduating, she returned to her hometown and began exhibiting by setting up personal and collective exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, participating in numerous competitions and events.

Her works arise from the need to express herself through the figurative arts in a contemporary context, with a pictorial vision of searching for dense and emotionally rich images.

Silvia Callegari nasce il 09/07/1983 a Piacenza, città in cui attualmente vive e lavora. Dopo essersi diplomata presso il Liceo Artistico Bruno Cassinari si trasferisce a Firenze dove, sotto la guida del Prof. R. Giovannelli, si laurea in "Arti Visive e Pittura" presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.

Nel 2008 subito dopo la laurea, ritorna nella sua città natale ed inizia ad esporre allestendo mostre personali e collettive, sia in Italia che all'estero, partecipando a numerosi concorsi e manifestazioni.

I suoi lavori nascono dalla necessità di esprimersi attraverso le arti figurative in un contesto contemporaneo, con una visione pittorica di ricerca di immagini dense e ricche di emotività.
